Shrewsbury – Elizabeth “Beth” (Phinney) Kelly, 72, of Shrewsbury, passed away at her home on Friday, June 3, 2022. She was born in Natick, MA, on April 9, 1950, to the late Gerald and Adeitha “Dee-Dee” (Renaghan) Phinney.
Beth was a graduate of Natick High School Class of 1968 and a longtime employee of the New England Sports Center. She radiated warmth and kindness everywhere she went.
She will forever be loved and remembered by her four children: Kerri-Ann Kelly and partner Shawn Rigney, Liam Kelly and his wife Jessica, the “twins” Heather Sayward with her husband Zachary, and Matthew Kelly with his wife Cassandra. Beth is survived by her siblings Anne Reynolds, Paula Timlin and her husband Ed, and Richard Phinney. Beth also leaves nine grandchildren: Zachary, Samuel, Hayden, Gavin, Colin, Nora, Lilly, Brooks, and Avery. She was predeceased by her brother Chad Phinney, brother-in-law Joe Reynolds, and sister-in-law Gloria Phinney.
Beth enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing at the ocean. She loved hazelnut coffee, diet coke, and a good bag of popcorn! Beth’s energy was genuine and she always found the good in everyone. She will be missed but her lasting impact will forever live in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours at the Chiampa Funeral Home, 5 Church Road, On the Common, Shrewsbury Center, on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Beth’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
