Paul C. KesseliShrewsbury – Paul C. Kesseli, 86, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Jewish Healthcare Center of Worcester, with his loving family by his side. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 66 years, Patricia (Hamilton) Kesseli, who passed almost a year ago; and their son, Peter J. Kesseli.

He leaves his children, Kathleen and her husband Ronald Etre of Grafton, Paul and his wife Nancy Kesseli of Worcester and Deborah DiIorio of Worcester; five grandchildren; Amie Etre Marchese, Ariann DiIorio, Erin Kesseli, Matthew Kesseli, Keslee DiIorio Mendoza and five great-grandchildren, Massimo and Gianni D’Errico, Luca Marchese, Connor Jacobs, and Ophelia Mendoza; along with many social and professional friends and extended family. Paul was also predeceased by his brother, Howard M. Kesseli, Jr., and their parents, Howard M. Kesseli, Sr. and Barbara (Cook) Kesseli.

Paul was born in Worcester, raised and educated in Shrewsbury; he was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School, Class of 1955. Several years later he attended and graduated from Clark University with a B.A. in Business Administration, in 1963.

Paul had an extensive and successful career in sales, working for WilTec from 1971 to 1978, owning and operating P. Kesseli Sales from 1978 to 2017, working for Astro Wire & Cable in Worcester from 1982 to 1989, Browning and Naughton, Inc. From 1989 to 2004, and Heat Trace Products Inc. From 2004 to 2017.

He loved antiques, and attended Brimfield annually to hunt for gems. Paul also enjoyed gardening and playing golf; and was a New England Sports enthusiast.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Kesseli family from 5 – 7 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in Section HH of Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
