NORTHBOROUGH – A series of doors decorated by area artists for Northborough’s “Go Out Doors – Northborough” exhibition are now up for auction.

Interested buyers can bid through the online auction website. The auction will end on June 18 at 2:30 p.m.

Launched as a public art project to be located at Ellsworth McAfee Park in town, Go Out Doors saw nine artists brought on to decorate doors.

The Northborough Cultural Council organized the effort and held an unveiling event back in April.

Organizers had planned to hold this auction, which will now split proceeds between the respective door artists and the Northborough Cultural Council.

“We’re hoping that that will continue the excitement and generate some funds,” Cultural Council Chair Terry Underwood told the Community Advocate in April.

Doors will be back on display and available for pickup at the Cultural Council’s CultureFest 2022, which will be held on the Town Common on June 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
