Maureen A. RacicotGrafton – Maureen A. Racicot, 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8th.

She leaves behind her loving mother Kathleen Murphy Racicot and her 2 devoted sisters Pam Racicot Boden (Michael) and Kathleen Racicot Orell (Edward). She is predeceased by her father Robert E Racicot Sr and her brother Robert E Racicot Jr. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and her good friend Meara.

Maureen was a long-time resident of Grafton. Maureen was a graduate of Millbury High school in 1980. Maureen was funny, creative and some of us would say strong willed. And she loved her family immensely. She was extremely happy when her family gathered to celebrate her 60th birthday this past January at her favorite Chinese restaurant.

Through the years Maureen developed many interests. She loved making soups! Any given day you could go to her place and her crackpot would be on. She was an avid Harry Potter fan, proving that with a Deathly Hallows tattoo she got for her 60th birthday, and rereading the 7 books she had in order.

Maureen took pride in making her apartment a home and filling it with knick knacks including collecting salt and pepper shakers.

In her passing Mom and her sisters were there holding her hands and listening to the beach boys. We will miss her phone calls, laughter and the way she loved to prank us.

Maureen, we love you and we will see you again!

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The Mulhane Home for Funerals of Millbury assisted with arrangements.
