Nancy C. OlsofskyNorthborough – Nancy C. Olsofsky passed away peacefully at the Christopher House of Worcester on Sunday, June 12, 2022; she was 92 years old. Nancy was raised in Chatham, NJ, the daughter to the late John and Clara (Conlan) McCormack.

She was a 1948 graduate of Chatham H.S. prior to earning her B.S. in Nursing from the Seton Hall College – School of Nursing. Nancy was proud of her lifelong career as a Registered Nurse and had no problem letting you know it, lest you forgot!

Nancy gave much of herself to the benefit of others. She was a longtime volunteer with the Red Cross and always looked out for her friends and family. She looked forward to being part of her family’s activities and was a proud member of the extensive Conlan family of New Jersey. She enjoyed traveling and often fondly recalled her first cruise which was aboard the RMS Queen Elizabeth. She also enjoyed sharing stories of her youth along the NJ Shoreline’s Boardwalk. One story in particular was the winning of a Studebaker before she could even drive. In her earlier years she was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Chatham where she served as a lector. Nancy also enjoyed playing bridge with family and friends and knitting.

Surviving Nancy are her four beloved children, Paul “Ace” Olsofsky and his wife Christine of Puerto Rico, Denise Andrews and her husband Thomas of Northborough, Claire Ward of Westborough and Sharon Kennedy and her husband Chuck of Tennessee. She also leaves eleven grandchildren: Siana, Erin and Jacob Olsofsky, Alexandra Andrews, Tommy Andrews, Samantha Kass, Christy Christo and Cayla Ward, Cody, Samantha and Zachary Kennedy; five great grandchildren: Savannah, Jackson, Sophia, Mason and Lily and her lifelong friend, Barbara Pierson of Chatham, NJ. Nancy was preceded in death by her former husband, Walter W. Olsofsky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Monday, June 20, at St. Rose of Lima Parish, 244 W. Main Street, Northborough. Nancy will be laid to rest beside her parents in the St. Vincent the Martyr Cemetery in Madison, NJ.

Nancy’s family would like to thank the caring staff of the Christopher House and Summit Eldercare for the love and support shown to Nancy during her stay there.
