Hudson – Beloved son, brother, friend and cousin, Marc Anthony Leandres, passed away on June 20th 2022 at the tender age of 39 after a sudden heart attack. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Marc was a serial autodidact when it came to his hobbies and his profession. While he never finished high school he enjoyed pursuing hobbies that required rigor to self teach. Marc enjoyed riding and working on his ATV, playing his guitar, hunting with a bow or rifle and tending to his garden. A longtime resident of Hudson, Massachusetts, Marc was an accomplished laborer and welder for S&F Concrete where he worked for over 20 years.
A proud uncle and godfather, Marc was fond of spending time with his nieces and nephews. Marc’s dog, Loki, was like his child and could regularly be seen with his head out of the window begging drive-through workers for a slice of cheese.
Marc is survived by his father and step mother, Antonio Leandres and Isabel Maria Rodrigues, his grandparents Jose and Maria Leandres, his siblings Michelle Leandres Freitas, Andrew Leandres, Christopher Leandres and Daniel Leandres, his nieces and nephews AJ Leandres, Alexis Leandres, Braden Freitas, Bronson Leandres and Shane Freitas (godson) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Marc was predeceased by his mother Isabel Frias Leandres among many other relatives.
Marc’s family extends their gratitude for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 4-7pm on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Saint MIchael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery in Hudson for Committal Services.
