Beatles tribute band to perform in Shrewsbury on Sunday

SHREWSBURY – Beatles tribute band Beatles for Sale is heading back to Dean Park in Shrewsbury tomorrow as part of a celebration for Independence Day.

Beatles for Sale is an award winning Beatles tribute band based in New England. They bring the essence of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison to their shows. 

Regularly performing throughout the state, the band has performed in Shrewsbury and in surrounding communities on multiple occasions in the past.

Guests are invited to dress in red, white and blue at this weekend’s event.

The summer concert kicks off at 6 p.m.

Food by Boy Scout Troop 114 will be available for purchase, with scouts cooking on the grill. Kona Ice will be serving up sweet treats.

The concert is sponsored by Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation and the Friends of Shrewsbury Library. The concert is supported in part by a grant from the Shrewsbury Cultural Council.
