WESTBOROUGH – The Westborough Women’s Club recently awarded four graduating Westborough High School students with a quartet of $1,500 scholarships this year.

Sasha Wilkinson, Rita Parikh, Isabelle Gu and Jillian Bolster each won scholarships.

Wilkinson will attend the University of British Columbia while Parikh will attend Boston University. Gu will attend the University of Pennsylvania and Bolster will attend Worcester State University.

“We congratulate these young women and wish them the very best as they begin their college careers,” the Women’s Club wrote in a press release.

The Women’s Club also sponsored two Westborough sophomores, Hallie Pellish and Zainab Anwar, to attend this year’s MassSTAR Citizenship Conference from June 3 to 5 at Lasell University.

Students were selected to attend the conference based on perceived leadership potential.

“Attendance at this conference gives the students an opportunity to role model effective citizenship skills, meet other young leaders, think critically about the quality of their communities, and become motivated to accept the challenge of using their skills to help others,” the club said in its press release.
