Elizabeth J. LivoliHudson – Elizabeth J. “Beth” (McSwain) Livoli, 76, longtime resident of Hudson, MA, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 4, 2022 at her residence. She is survived by her husband Guido “Ronnie” Livoli.

Beth was born and raised in Watertown, MA, daughter of the late Sarah (Thurston) McSwain. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Watertown H.S. She attended Boston University for a short time until she began raising her family. Ronnie and Beth moved to Hudson 40 plus years ago and both took great pride in the raising of their children and caring for the home. She was a longtime member of the Community Church in Watertown. Beth was also very active in the Girl Scouts and volunteered to be a Girl Scout leader during her daughters’ memberships in the Scouts.

Besides her husband, Beth leaves her son, Matthew Livoli and his wife Michele of Dracut, MA; her two daughters, Joanne Livoli-Hogan of Hudson, MA and Amanda Gould and her husband Robert of Hudson, MA. She was predeceased by her son Guido Paul Livoli in 1971 and later her daughter Christine Livoli in 1991. She also leaves her 6 grandchildren, Nicole Markopoulos and her husband Evan, Isabella Livoli, Haley Gould, Emily Hogan, Christian Livoli and Logan Gould along with her many cousins, other relatives and close friends.

Beth truly was a devoted wife and mother. She met the love of her life Ronnie in high school, and they remained sweethearts until her passing. She cherished spending time with her family, especially later with her grandchildren who grew to rely on her giving spirit with rides in “Grammy’s Taxi”. As a child she enjoyed Roller Skating at Wal-Ex in Waltham. That joy of skating turned her into the greatest “Rink Mom” who was there for all her kids, grandkids and all the rest of her “Rink Family” that just happened to be within talking distance. Beth loved all the New England Sports teams and would remind anyone who would listen that there were 5 in New England. The New England Revolution was her favorite.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
