WESTBOROUGH – Outdoor movie showings will return to Westborough’s Bay State Commons through the town’s Screen on the Green program this summer.

The program is sponsored by the Westborough Public Library, the Fire Department and the Recreation Department. It will kick off with a showing of “Mamma Mia” on July 14.

Screen on the Green will also show “Encanto” on July 21 and “A League of Their Own” on July 28. On Aug. 4, “High School Musical 2” will be shown at the Westborough Golf Course. All movies will start at 8:30 p.m.

Uhlman’s Ice Cream and the BORO Sugar Shack will sell sweets at the showings.

On July 14, guests will be able to see a performance by blues-based classic rock band Jumpin Juba at 7 before “Mamma Mia” starts. The performance is sponsored by the Westborough Cultural Council.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to sit on.
