SOUTHBOROUGH – A fiery head-on crash left two people injured in Southborough early Saturday morning, according to the Southborough Fire Department.
Injuries were reportedly minor, with victims transported to local hospitals.
This crash took place just after 2 a.m., according to firefighters. Cars collided in the area around the intersection of Framingham Road and Marlborough Road near the Southborough/Marlborough border.
One of the vehicles was then “fully engulfed in flames” by the time emergency crews arrived on scene, according to Southborough Police.
Police received aid from Marlborough, Framingham, Westborough and Ashland police departments as they responded.
The accident remained under investigation as of Saturday afternoon.
