GRAFTON – A 2022 Grafton High School graduate was one of 30 high school students recently awarded scholarships worth $60,000 from Teamsters Local 25.

Every year, Teamsters Local 25 provides scholarships to children and grandchildren of union members.

Zachary Rosati of South Grafton is the son of member Lisa Rosati who works for DHL. He received the HILB Group Inc. Scholarship Award and plans to attend Worcester State University.

Rosati was one of the students who was presented with the scholarship during a ceremony at the union hall in Charlestown.

“We are proud to award these scholarships as a way to inspire youth to become our next leaders,” said Teamsters Local 25 President Thomas Mari in a press release. “It’s important that we invest in the education of the next generation.”

“These students have worked hard to maximize their high school education and we are proud to help launch their post-secondary education,” he continued. “Judging by the students who received our scholarships, the future looks bright and we can expect great things from the next generation.”
