Roger H. CliffordLeominster – Roger Hayes Clifford,70, of Leominster, MA, died suddenly on Sunday, July 24, 2022, surrounded by family members and friends.

Roger will be deeply missed by his beloved twin brother Robert and Robert’s children, Peter and Scott; as well as  brothers John and wife, Pat, and their children, Frank and Vanessa;  Doug, and his wife, Sandy, and their children, Michael and Matthew; Dan, and his wife, Margi, and their children, Irene, and Jay;  and his friend, Lydia, in addition to many cousins, friends, and members of the Knights Of Columbus. He was the son of Irene (Quirk) Clifford and Daniel F. Clifford, who predeceased him.

Roger was born on April 23, 1952 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston and grew up in Hudson, MA. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Roger lived for several years in New Orleans, where he worked in the hospitality industry before returning to Boston.

He retired from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and lived in Leominster for many years and had been an active member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was Grand Marshal.

Roger was well liked by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his passing will be felt by many, especially his immediate and extended family, along with the many folks he encountered and befriended in Hudson, Leominster, Cambridge, New Orleans, and Ireland.

Visitation will be held at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA, on Thursday, July 28 from 4 -7 PM and Friday from 10 – 11 AM followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 11am. Internment will follow at Forest Vale cemetery in Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a favorite charity.
