Pauline A. McKinley, 89, of Hudson

Pauline A. McKinleyHudson – Pauline A. (Pitts) McKinley, 89, of Hudson, Massachusetts died Friday, August 19th, 2022 at Marlborough Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dariel G. McKinley, Sr who passed away in 2015. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this summer, he was the love of her life and she lost a little part of herself the night he passed away.

She was born in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (McDonald) Pitts. She worked at Stow Labs in Hudson for many years.

Pauline was a former member of St. Michael’s and St. Isidore’s Parish where she spent many Sunday mornings as an usher and greeter. She enjoyed the simple joys in life; bowling, Bingo, playing cards, traveling to visit family, puzzles, country music, and long walks but more than anything she loved her family.

She will be remembered by those that loved her as the person in your life who would be there for you no matter what you did, if you were struggling or succeeding-she was always on your side either celebrating your accomplishments with pure joy as if they were her own or drying your tears and reminding you that everything was going to be ok.

She leaves behind her two sons, Bryant P. “Mac” McKinley of Shrewsbury and Dariel G. McKinley, Jr. of Sumter, South Carolina; her daughter Annmarie I. McKinley of Shrewsbury; her sister Bernadette Harris of Hudson; six beloved grandchildren, Tara (McKinley) Sagor, Kristen McKinley, Jessica McKinley, Jeffrey McKinley, Marybeth Kane and David McKinley; 10 great grandchildren, Treyvon, Jaida, Michael, Alyxis, Kadein, Bradley, David, Eliana, Isaiah, Noah; and many nieces and nephews who brought her so much joy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday August 24 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson. A time of visitation will be held prior to the funeral Mass from 9:00-10:15 AM in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.

All are invited to sign Pauline’s online guestbook at www.collinsfuneral.com.
