Southborough – Janice (Newton) Rock, 84, originally from Southborough, MA passed away peacefully on July 13, 2022 at Washington Gardens Memory Care in Tigard, Oregon surrounded by family. Janice was born February 3, 1938 in Needham, MA to the late Hilda and Robert Newton where she attended Needham High School, class of 1956.
She is predeceased by her late husband Clayton Rock, her son Peter Pechonis, and daughter Tracy Pechonis. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Dumont of Beaverton, Oregon, and sons Joshua Pechonis of Pittsburg, PA, and Paul Pechonis of Boylston, MA; her siblings Mary Ford of Medfield, Bob Newton and Helen Newton of Needham, Kathy Mahoney of Newbury, and Richard Newton of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will honor and remember Janice’s life at a graveside funeral service will be held at Southborough Rural Cemetery on September, 9 at 11am.
