Angeline I. BurnettHudson – Angeline (Angie) Isabelle Burnett nee Thomas passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022 from old age.

Angie was born on a farm in Neillsville, Wisconsin June 5, 1929, to Theresa and Merritt Thomas. At the age of 18, she moved to Minneapolis where she went to secretarial school. She worked her way up to executive secretary at the Northern States Power Company before leaving to start a family. She later worked as a secretary for Bloomington Public Schools for over 25 years.

At the age of 21, she married Thomas (Tom) James Burnett; they had two sons, Jeffrey Thomas and Steven Merritt Burnett. Angie was an avid reader and remained so in the face of advanced macular degeneration. She loved to travel; she and Tom frequently vacationed in Mazatlán. The pair explored much of Europe and many other faraway places together.

Angie is survived by her son Steven (Monica), grandchildren, Dale, Christopher. Nicholas, Elizabeth, and Sarah, and one great grandchild, Kaylee. She is predeceased by her husband, Tom, of nearly 55 years and her son, Jeff.

A Celebration of Angie’s life will be held at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA on Friday, September, 16, 2022 at 5:00 PM. Family and friends may attend a period of visitation from 4:00 to 5:00 PM prior to the service.Services at the Rose Lawn Cemetery, 803 Larpenteur Avenue, Roseville, MN will be on Friday, September 23, 2022 with a gathering at the cemetery at 10:00 AM and inurnment following at 11:00 AM.
