Rhéa D. BrownNorthborough – Rhéa D. (Fournier) Brown, 89, of Northborough, passed away peacefully at her residence, on Thursday, September 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, after several years of declining health.

A beloved wife and mother, Rhéa was born in Worcester, on September 29, 1932. She was the daughter of Francis X. and Imelda R. (Loiselle) Fournier. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester where she met the love of her life, a Navy veteran, Frank E. Brown Jr.

They married in 1950, and soon after, purchased their home in Northborough where they started their family and had five children together. Rhéa enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. She was actively involved with her childrens’ activities and rarely missed a sporting event. She enjoyed meeting new people and made friends easily. She worked alongside her husband Frank in the family business, Brown’s TV, Video, and Appliance.

Rhéa is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 72 years, Frank; her son Frank Brown and his wife Corinne of Sarasota, Florida, daughter Paula Yankee and her husband Kenneth of Shrewsbury, and son David Brown and his wife Cindy of Millbury. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Nancy Delpero of Wrangell, Alaska; sister Mildred Sweeney of Kissimmee, Florida; her six grandchildren, Kenneth, John, Kellie, Frank, Thomas, and Amanda; 11 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Alysa, Layla, Jack, Keith, Jenna, Harleigh, Bruin, Ashlynn, Frank, and Sarah, who brought her much joy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Michael and infant daughter Karen. She will be greatly and sadly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation period at the Chiampa Funeral Home, 5 Church Road, on the Common, Shrewsbury Center, on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM. Funeral Service will follow. Interment will take place at Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough.
