Natalie L. BilancieriMarlborough – Natalie L. (DesRochers) Bilancieri, 89, of Marlborough, MA, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her home in Marlborough, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Conrad DesRochers and Julia (Robert) (DesRochers) Burns and wife to the late Robert R. Bilancieri, to whom she had been married for 53 years until his death in 2006. She was predeceased by her daughter Jayne Dudley and her sister, Jacquelyn “Fleurette” Bilancieri.

Natalie is survived by her five children: sons, Paul Bilancieri and his wife Katie, Peter Bilancieri, Michael Bilancieri and his wife Kathy, and Steven Bilancieri, and her daughter, Susan Oldham and her husband Rodney all from Marlborough; and her 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild: nieces and nephews.

Natalie, raised in Marlborough, was a 1951 graduate of St. Ann’s Academy, who enjoyed playing the piano and had the honor of playing at her graduation.  Soon after graduation she married her sweetheart and started her family which was her most rewarding job.  She was for many years a well-known Hostess at the old Oxford Restaurant in town where she enjoyed greeting customers and visiting with the regulars every weekend.

Her favorite role was being called Mom, Memere, or Meme. One could always find her present at all those special occasions in her family’s life, she cherished every moment. She was her family’s biggest fan cheering for them from the sidelines. On those warm sunny days, she could be found sitting on her back porch enjoying the day. She enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod relaxing at the family cottage and going to the beach with family and friends. Her winters were spent relaxing on the Florida beaches watching the dolphins.

Natalie was a member of St. Bernadette’s Parish in Northborough. She enjoyed singing and was active in her church choirs throughout her life, including the former St. Ann’s Parish, and the former St. Mary’s Parish both in Marlborough. She was also a long-time member of the Northborough area community chorus. She was a Religious Education Teacher and Eucharistic minister for many years at St. Ann’s Parish and St. Mary’s Parish as well as a member of the St. Ann’s Parish Sodality.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 4:00-7:00PM at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main St. (Rte. 20) Northborough, MA 01532. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beach St., Marlborough, MA.
