WESTBOROUGH – Planet Fitness will open its newest location in Westmeadow Plaza at 166 Milk Street in November.
“After more than two years that reinforced how important both physical and mental wellness is for all of us, there is no better time for the opening of a new fitness center in Westborough with a workout environment where everyone feels accepted and respected,” said Brian Kablik, Planet Fitness franchisee. “Our brand-new, state-of-the art and exceptionally clean fitness center is a fantastic addition for the community.”
This Westborough location will join several others in the region, including in Shrewsbury and Marlborough.
Kablik noted that in addition to our new clubs, Planet Fitness has reinvested in their existing clubs, including remodeling at the Shrewsbury site.
“We are also happy to continually expand our footprint in Worcester County; Westborough will bring our franchise group to seven locations in the county and 58 locations overall in New England,” said Kablik.
The new Westborough Planet Fitness will be 21,500 square feet and offer numerous features, including 108 pieces of cardio equipment, 85 pieces of strength and free weights equipment, a dedicated stretching and abs area, five tanning beds, two massage chairs and four HydroMassage Loungers.
Additionally, there will be private locker rooms, changing areas, day lockers and individual showers along with a private Black Card spa for Planet Fitness Black Card members. The new Planet Fitness will also have a RelaxSpace Wellness Pod where members will be able to relax and focus on their mental health.
Once open, the new Westborough club will be open and staffed Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
