Christopher J. DigouSouth Dennis – Christopher J. Digou, 57, of South Dennis, MA, formerly of Hudson, MA and Marlborough, MA, died on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at UMASS Medical Center, Memorial Campus in Worcester. He leaves his wife of 29 years, Karen D. (Dupre) Digou.

Chris was born and raised in Marlborough, son of the late Charles J. Digou Sr. and Lucile M. (Belmore) Digou. He attended local schools and was a 1983 graduate of Marlborough, High School. He worked for Stratus Technologies in Maynard, MA for 20 plus years until retiring. Chris and Karen just recently purchased a home in South Dennis on Cape Cod to enjoy retirement.

Besides his wife, Chris is survived by his brother Charles Digou Jr. and his friend Sharon Collari; his sister Cynthia Madden and her husband Brian; his brother David Digou; his sister Diane Ogar and her husband William; his sister Carol Krager and her husband Carl; his brother Dennis Digou and his longtime friend Kim Garcia; his sister Catherine Digou and her fiancé  William Orr; his mother-in-law Mary Ann Dupre; his brother-in-law Norman Dupre and his wife Suzanne and his brother-in-law David Dupre and his wife Donna. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Keith Madden, Jamie and Joseph Ogar, James and Matthew Winchester, Jesse Digou, David and Kristie Digou.

Chris also leaves his very close friends John Brule, Carol “Franco” (Francolini) Mueller and Chris Combs. He was always caring for others and will be greatly missed by all, including Roxy & Elishka, his two German Shepard dogs he loved and cared for. Chris was also a member of the Marlboro Moose Lodge 1129, the VFW Post 1027 of Hudson and would also go to the Sudbury American Legion Post 191.

Chris had many interests throughout his life including many days on the golf course with friends and rooting on the local sports teams as an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins fan. He always cherished the special gatherings of family and friends and an evening out to dinner with Karen at their favorite restaurant “Da Vinci Bistro” in Sudbury was always very special.

A Celebration of Christopher’s Life will be held at the Marlboro Moose Lodge 1129, 67 Fitchburg Street, Marlboro, MA on Saturday, November 12th from 1-5pm.

Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA is assisting the family with arrangements.
