Patricia J. MillayAuburn – Patricia J. “Pat” (Seery) Millay, 85, of Auburn, and formerly of Northborough and Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves her beloved husband of 63 years, Philip L. Millay, Jr.; her devoted children, Mark P. Millay and his wife Karen, of Auburn, and Susan M. Gagnon and her husband Albert, of Millbury; her adoring grandchildren, Ryan Millay and his wife Kendra, of Medfield, Randall Millay and his wife Elizabeth, of Westborough, and Riley Millay, of Auburn, Christopher Gagnon and his wife Shannon, of New Hampshire, and Ariel Gagnon, of Webster; her great-grandchildren, Summer, Callan, and Kiera; her beloved sister, Kathleen Engwall, of Ohio; along with many, many nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her siblings, Ann, Jimmy, and Marlene; and their parents, James and Helen (Burden) Seery.

Patricia was born in Worcester, and was a graduate of South High School and Salters Secretarial School. She also attended classes at Quinsigamond Community College. Patricia worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years at the former State Mutual Insurance.

Patricia and Phil loved playing golf together, for over 50 years. They even built a house on a golf course and played there almost three times weekly. They travelled in the spring and fall seasons throughout the states, especially the East Coast and West Coast, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and most National parks. She especially loved gardening, painting bird houses, bowling, and watching sports and her favorite TV shows.

She will be remembered for her caring, kind qualities, her signature ‘beauty queen’ style, and her love for children.

Services and burial will be held privately for Patricia’s family. The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with arrangements.
