NORTHBOROUGH – Craftworks is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

In 1979 a group of likeminded crafters started a craft cooperative, full of artisans who created wonderful handmade gifts.

In 2011, Ande Lockwood took over the shop and moved it to its current location in the Northboro Shopping Center. Ten years ago, she expanded to include a full-service Yarn Shop specializing in knitting, crocheting and fiber arts, offering classes and community events.

Lockwood, the staff and instructors invite you to join them on Saturday, October 29 from 12-4 p.m. for a celebration of those two anniversaries.

There will be a Fashion Show at 1 p.m. and at 2 p.m. and “Break the Piñata,” which will be filled with special treasures, besides chocolate.

Attendees will also be able to meet some of the fabulous makers, test their luck with drawings and begin their holiday shopping with 10% off purchases all afternoon.

Craftworks is located at 243 W. Main St in Northborough.

For information call (508) 393-9435 or visit them at www.craftworkscoop.com.
