MARLBOROUGH – Eight boys from the Marlboro American Youth Football League were in Kissimmee, Fla., this past week, competing in the AYF National Championships.
According to coach John Guarnieri, the boys – including four 13-year-olds and two 9-year-olds – were “having a blast.”
The boys earned their spots in the national championships by being named all-stars for central Massachusetts.
In order to help cover expenses such as travel, hotel and meals, the Marlboro AYFL is conducting a raffle; tickets ($100 each) will be available until the drawing on Dec. 14.
There’s a 1 in 300 chance to win $10,000; two winners will get $2,000, and 10 winners will go home with $100.
