Law enforcement searches Sudbury Reservoir for missing man

MARLBOROUGH – The search continues for Jeffrey Allard, a 52-year-old Ware man last seen leaving a medical facility in Marlborough on Sunday, Jan. 22.

On Wednesday, Feb. 1, Marlborough Police reported that about 25 K9 units from the Northeast Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) and Central Mass. Law Enforcement Council (CEMLEC) met at 911 Memorial Field, along with the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department and DCR rangers. The units deployed, covered and cleared all areas surrounding the Sudbury Reservoir all the way to Route 30 in Southborough.

The DCR deployed a boat in the reservoir with a cadaver dog.

Police have been unable to locate Allard or any evidence related to his disappearance.

The search for Allard, which has focused on the Sudbury Reservoir, has been going since Friday, Jan. 27. Police believe he was in the Farm Road/Cook Lane area.

“We’re asking residents that live in the Farm Road/Cook Lane area to please review any Ring camera or CCTV video footage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the day of January 22, 2023,” said Marlborough Police in a statement.

Allard is a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, last seen wearing blue jeans, black sneakers, heavy gray hooded jacket, black gloves and carrying a black duffle bag.
