John TselikisMarlborough – John Tselikis, 90, of Marlborough MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 10, 2023.

He was the son of the late Nicholas and Sophia (Chakonas) Tselikis and the husband of Angeliki (Nikolakakos) to whom he was married for 60 years. He was predeceased by his brothers, Steve Tselikis and Costas Tselikis.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Peter J Tselikis and his wife Nancy of Bellingham MA and Nicholas Tselikis of Marlborough. He is also survived by grandsons, John B. Tselikis, and Ryan Adams.

John Tselikis was born in Kallithea Greece, on March 4, 1932. He graduated from High School and College and served in the Greek Army. He emigrated to the United States in 1965 to pursue the American Dream. He worked as a respiratory therapist for Lynn Hospital and later Marlborough Hospital. John then joined the City of Marlborough Board of Health where he retired. He also taught Greek School at Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church for many years.

John was an avid reader and writer. He has written thousands of poems and a few novels. John was a dedicated family man to all of his family and extended family. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his Grandson John, reliving stories of his time in the military and passing on his wisdom.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 10:00AM – 11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at St. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, 9 Central St., Marlborough MA 01752. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, PO BOX 381, Marlborough MA 01752.
