WESTBOROUGH – Here are a few things to know about this Saturday’s annual Town Meeting.
Start time will be 9 a.m.
Voters will determine if/when there will be breaks. No expected lunch break; expected dinner break around 5:30 p.m.
Voters may leave and return according to their own schedule.
Free transportation is available via The Council on Aging. Voters who are interested should contact the Council on Aging by Thursday, March 23, at 508-366-3000.
Free babysitting will be provided at the high school from National Honor Society students.
Lunch will be available for purchase; voters can bring a lunch if they want. The School Department’s food service will offer lunches for sale, and the Women’s Club will also have food and beverages for sale.
The warrant contains 39 articles. Residents will be asked to decide on setting the town and school budgets for fiscal 2024; move future fall Town Meetings from Monday evenings to Saturday mornings; fund a new study and design for Westborough Public Library; and improvements to water and sewer systems.
