Mary Krasnoff, 62, of Marlborough


Mary KrasnoffMarlborough – Mary Fitzgerald Krasnoff, 62, of Marlborough Massachusetts daughter of the late Michael J Fitzgerald and Helen “Bunny” Fitzgerald passed away Tuesday March 21, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

She is survived by her sister Kate Fitzgerald (Kelley Ashby) of Vermillion, SD. Her uncle; Thomas Sullivan of Springfield, MA, many cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her parents, former husband Steven Krasnoff and fiancé Daniel Pierce and many aunts and uncles. Mary graduated from Assumption College in Worcester where she made lifelong friends who were a second family. As well as Anna Maria College with a master’s degree.

Mary was employed at Nova as Director, Clinical Applications and Implementation Services. She worked at Nova for 25 years.

She loved to travel and completed the trip of a lifetime this past summer when she went to Ireland with a bunch of Sullivan cousins. Alaska in 2019 was one of her favorite trips. She enjoyed many sports including the New England Patriots, Red Sox Baseball and Revolution soccer.

The family would like to thank Christine McSherry, Betsy Meindl and Melanie Pierce-Lema for being there with Mary especially the past month and providing care and companionship.

Mary was a dedicated friend and in the end a fighter who never complained about the hand she was dealt. Her favorite saying in recent years in regard to her illness was “Just Keep Swimming”.

Calling Hours for Mary will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 9:30  to 11:00 AM at DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester. Mary’s Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of LourdesChurch, 1290 Grafton Street, Worcester. A private burial will be held at St Mary Cemetery, East Hartford, Ct.
