Diane A. OgarMarlborough – Diane A. “Chicky” Ogar, 66, a lifelong resident of Marlborough, MA died on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Chicky leaves her husband of 47 years, William J. Ogar of Marlborough, MA; her son, Joseph Ogar and his partner Nina Freitas of Hudson, MA; her daughter Jamie Ogar of Hudson, MA; and grandchildren Joshua, Kendra and Mila Ogar and Alec Szwabowski. She is also survived by her 3 brothers, Charles J. Digou Jr. and his partner Sharon of Marlborough, MA, David Digou of Florida, Dennis Digou and partner Kim of Florida; 3 sisters, Cynthia Madden and her husband Brian of Rockport, MA, Carol Krager and her husband Carl of Florida, Cathy Digou and partner William Orr of Marlborough, MA; her sister-in-law, Karen Digou, wife of Diane’s late brother Christopher Digou of South Dennis, MA. Also, her late sister-in-law Kathleen “Leeny” Digou, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Chicky was born and raised in Marlborough, MA, daughter of the late Charles J. Digou Sr. and Lucile M. (Belmore) Digou. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School.

She was employed as a dental assistant at Dr. Andersons’s office in Marlborough, MA for many years until retiring.

She was a member of the former Saint Mary’s Parish in Marlborough, MA, member of the Hudson V.F.W. and member of the Hudson Eagles, both in Hudson, MA, where she loved meeting her friends and socializing with everyone in attendance.

Chicky enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She loved the beach and vacationing with friends and family, especially her many trips to Old Orchard Beach and Hampton Beach. Chicky loved her bingo, game nights and played on a women’s horseshoe league and always looked forward to her pizza nights at the VFW on Sundays. She leaves many memories behind for all those that loved and knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A service and Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11 am at the funeral home; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson for Committal Services.

Following the Committal Services, friends and family are invited to gather beginning around 12:30 pm at the Hudson V.F.W. located at 3 Palmieri Dr. to celebrate Chicky’s life and continue to share memories.
