Beverly A. CrawfordGrafton – Beverly A. (Forsman) Crawford, 83, passed away April 15, 2023 at Christopher House in Worcester, MA following an illness. Her husband of 60 years, Hugh D. “Huck” Crawford predeceased her in January of 2022.

Beverly is survived by her children Amy O’Farrell, her husband Kevin and their children Sean and Catelyn and Garrett Crawford, his wife Erin and their daughter Ava, and her sister-in-law Nancy Forsman. She was predeceased by her brother Randolph A. “Randy” Forsman, Jr.

Beverly was born August 4, 1939 in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Dorothy E. (Strom) and Randolph A. Forsman, Sr. She was a Grafton resident for most of her life, graduating from Grafton High School in 1957 and then the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1960.

She spent many years working as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital, Keith Hill Nursing Home and then for Dr. N. Alan Harris before a disability brought on her retirement in 1988.

Away from work Beverly was known for her bright smile and a fighting spirit that sustained her through challenges with her health throughout her life.

She was a passionate Boston sports fan, especially the Bruins and Red Sox. She was her children’s biggest sports fan during their childhood and spent many days, evenings and weekends attending their events. She loved a game of candlepin bowling and belonged to a league with friends in her younger years. She was steadfast in her faith and a devoted parish and choir member of the former St. Andrews Episcopal Church in North Grafton.

The family would like to thank the staff at Christopher House for their care of Beverly over the last several years, especially her favorite, Marceau.

All are welcome to gather with Beverly’s family and friends on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 9:30-11am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 11am in the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton next to her beloved husband Huck.
