SHREWSBURY – Do you have unwanted to expired medication?
The Shrewsbury Police Department and Board of Health will be holding a medication take back event today at the Shrewsbury Senior Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
As part of the event, participants are encouraged to bring their unwanted, unused and/or expired prescription or over-the-counter medication for disposal.
However, the police and Board of Health will not be accepting sharps. Anyone wishing to dispose of sharps such as diabetic needles, lancets and expired EpiPens can contact the health department at 508-841-8384 for proper disposal information.
