Cynthia Paradise

Leominster – Cynthia (Rybacki) Paradise, 66, of Leominster, MA passed away unexpectedly on April 12thwith her loving family by her side. Cyndi was born on March 23, 1957, in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Ernest Rybacki and Joan (Rybacki) Garramone.

Cyndi grew up in Northborough, MA and graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in 1975. She began her career at Digital Equipment Corporation, where she worked in manufacturing and marketing. In the early 80’s, while on the Spectrum Road Show, destiny struck when she met her husband, Robert. Once they started a family, she left her business career to be a stay-at-home mom. During this time, she volunteered with the Leominster Hospital Guild, helped with the Johnny Appleseed School PTO, and served on the School Committee for a few years.

In 1998, she began working as a Driver’s Education classroom instructor, and quickly fell in love with the craft. She worked for and then owned and operated Mike’s Auto School in Lunenburg, MA until 2016. Her love of teaching continued as she later became a teaching assistant at the Perkins School in Lancaster, MA. Most recently she was a part time bank teller at Avidia Bank in Hudson, MA. No matter the job, her work ethic and passion were unmatched.

Whether she was entertaining in her backyard “Paradise,” teaching life lessons, cooking, or cleaning, she took pride in everything she did. Cyndi’s biggest accomplishment was her family. Most of all, Mamie cherished her time with her grandchildren: Brynlee, Willow, Charlotte, and Oliver. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, Robert; her daughter Amanda and her fiancé Richard Carrasco; her son Matthew and his wife Louise Paradise; her brother Larry Rybacki and wife Christine; her sister Dian Laganelli and husband John; and her stepmother Lucy Rybacki, along with countless other family and friends.

Cyndi’s generous final act was that of being an organ donor which further cements her legacy of the selfless life she lived. She may have lost hers, but she gave a second chance at life to others. We are so proud to call her ours, and she will shine down from “Paradise” forever.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday May 13, 2023 in Our Lady of the Lake Church 1400 Main St. Leominster, MA 01453. All friends and relatives are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask you to consider donating in honor of Cyndi’s memory to the Jimmy Fund, c/o Rybacki Memorial, 386 N. Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532.

There are no calling hours.
