REGION – Although showers are expected today, there’s still a lot to do across the region this weekend.

PLANT SALES CONTINUE

Saturday, May 20, 9 to 11:30 a.m., Hastings Elementary School, 111 E. Main St., Westborough. Perennials, annuals, grandma’s special herbs and more available for purchase. Rain or shine. Sponsored by the Westborough Garden Club. Information: WestboroughGardenClub.org.

The Southborough Gardeners are also holding their spring plant sale on May 20 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Southborough Community House.

The Shrewsbury Garden Club is inviting the community to its plant sale on Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Shrewsbury Senior Center.

SCOUT ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BBQ

Sunday, May 21, Jacobs Hall, Marlborough Masonic Building, 8 Newton St., Marlborough. Four seatings – 11 a.m. to noon, noon to 1 p.m., 1 to 2 p.m., 2 to 3 p.m. Catered by Stevie’s Café. Tickets cost $20 adult (ages 11 and older), $15 for children (age 10 and younger). Proceeds benefit Hudson Troop 77, Hudson Troop 2, Marlboro Troop 2 and Assabet Valley Crew 23. EARTH DAY CONCERT

Sunday, May 21, noon to 1 p.m., Southborough Public Library (lawn). With folk singer Claire Dacey. All ages welcome; bring a lawn chair or blanket. Sponsored by the Southborough Open Space Preservation Commission.

FUN FAIR

ROTARY DAY OF SERVICE

The Rotary Club of Westborough will join other clubs around the district in conducting a Day of Service on Saturday, May 20.
