Joseph CaliguriHudson – Joseph Caliguri died at home peacefully on May 22, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. He was 94 years old.

Joe lived a long and wonderful life. Early on, Joe served his country for two years in the Navy. After his service, Joe received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bentley College in Boston. He then started a long career with the U.S. Government as a Federal Bank Examiner, followed by many years working for the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in Boston. At 50 years old, Joe took an early retirement to pursue the career of his calling in acting. He remains an active member of the SAG-AFTRA. Joe performed in many regional theater productions including with the Reagle Players in Waltham.

For 32+ years Joe and his wonderful husband, Michael Keough, enjoyed living in both Newton and Hudson, where they created countless memories with their many friends and family members. Michael and Joe loved their trips to Maine and Florida with family and friends.

Joe is survived by his husband Michael, several nieces, nephews, and many cousins. He is also survived by many Keough and Donahue siblings, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Dominic and Rose M. (Costanza) Caliguri of Newton, MA. As well as his sisters Rita and Sadie, and his brothers Sam, Albert and Frank.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2023, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA, from 4pm-6pm. A Funeral Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 1, 2023, at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to meet directly at Saint Michael Parish on Thursday.
