Shirley A. WareBoylston – Shirley A. (Feccia) Ware, 83, a Boylston resident (and formerly of Southborough), passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. She waspredeceased by her parents, Louis and Sophie Feccia of Natick.

Shirley graduated from the Sacred Heart High School in Newton and attended MA College of Pharmacy in Worcester for two years before becoming a wife and mother. was employed as a school bus driver for Framingham and retired after 20 years.

Shirley was well known for her cake-decorating skills (having won many competitions) and greatly enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She had a creative flair for painting both ceramics and canvas, was an avid crafter, and loved her pets dearly.

Shirley is survived by her husband Frederick Ware Jr. of Boylston and their children: Frederick Ware III and his wife Jennifer of Placerville CA; Tracey Kutzko and her husband Stan of Upton; Sherry Guilmartin and her husband Chris of Medway; Sharon Ware of Seabrook NH; Janet Leo and her husband Bob of Shrewsbury; Lesley Susan Ware of Worcester; and 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by her sister Lorraine Schrader of Fallston MD.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours at the Chiampa Funeral Home, 5 Church Road, on the Common, Shrewsbury on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 25th at 11:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick.

To honor and reminisce about Shirley, her family will be hosting a “Celebration of Life” reception on Tuesday, July 25th from Noon – 2:30 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 17 Willow Street in Westborough.
