Here are some local events to mark the “final” week of summer vacation:

Fall Coat Drive

Saturday, Aug. 26, 9 a.m. to noon, Westborough High School. In conjunction with the Girl Scouts’ textile drive. Accepting like-new coats, new underwear and hats. All sizes, children’s and adult, including adult XL-XXXL. Sponsored by In Your Shoes Westborough.

Play Music on the Porch Day

Saturday, Aug. 26, 11 a.m. to noon, Grafton Public Library, 35 Common St. Join GUM Jam for some ukulele music.

Creeque Alley Performance

Saturday, Aug. 26, 1 to 2 p.m., Tatnuck Bookseller, Route 9 and Lyman Street, Westborough. Creeque Alley is a musical duo who performs traditional American folk and folk rock music from the 1960s. The duo is composed of local musicians Sean Fullerton and Dan Kirouac. Together, they will perform the songs with instrumental and vocal accuracy while showcasing a variety of acoustic instruments. Fullerton and Kirouac will also provide historical context and background information for each song.

Summer Nights

School Supply Drive

The Hudson Police Department is collecting notebooks, pencils, backpacks and other school materials through Monday, Aug. 28. Items may be dropped off in the lobby. Donations will go to Hudson Public Schools.
