SHREWSBURY – A Downton Abbey-themed event is coming to the Shrewsbury Public Library.
The Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library invite the public to A Pleasant Pairing: Tea and Chocolate with a Downton Abbey Theme at 7 p.m. Oct. 4. The event will include a Downton Abbey display and trivia.
For the past 15 years, Kim Larkin has offered workshops through her company Klassic Kreations. One of which is a tea and chocolate pairing, which will be part of the Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library’s annual meeting.
Larkin is a licensed chocolatier and creative arts teacher with over 20 years of experience. Her presentation will highlight the history and health benefits of tea and dark chocolate along with how to brew a proper cuppa, difference in tea varieties, tenants of the Cha/Tea Ceremonies and samplings of tea infusions paired with fine chocolates.
