NORTHBOROUGH – Through Oct. 16, the Northborough Helping Hands Association will be conducting its annual winter gear drive.

As part of the drive, the association will be collecting new and gently-used coats, boots, snow pants, hats, mittens and gloves. The items should be clean and without stains, rips or tears.

All sizes from infants to adults are needed.

Helping Hands has drop-off locations at the Northborough Free Library, Northborough Public Schools, Southborough Public Schools, St. Bernadette School, Central One Federal Credit Union, Northborough Recreation Department and Allure Hair Spa.

The donations will benefit Northborough families.

Helping Hands will receive requests for assistants through collaboration with the town’s social service program. The collected items will be distributed in late October.
