MARLBOROUGH – The Recreation Department is sponsoring its annual Build a Scarecrow contest.
Residents and local groups of all ages are welcome to participate. A limited supply of wooden frames is available at the Recreation Department’s offices at 239 Concord Road.
Scarecrows must be delivered to the offices by Friday, Oct. 20.
Please submit contact information along with the scarecrow.
All submissions will be showcased around Union Common during this year’s Horribles Parade on Thursday, Oct. 26. Three scarecrow designers will be selected for a prize (gift card) based on creativity and design.
