SHREWSBURY – Drivers on Route 20 may be detoured.
According to the Shrewsbury Police Department, Route 20 is closed in both directions between Shrewsbury Commons and the intersections of Route 20 and South Street and Green Street. Police said the road was closed for crash reconstruction.
Drivers were facing delays since at least 6:40 p.m. As of 9 p.m., drivers were still being detoured.
“Seek alternate route and expect delays,” the police department wrote in a Facebook post.
