REGION – The latest round of snow overnight Sunday, Jan. 28, into Monday, Jan. 29, left anywhere from 2 to 6 inches in the region.

However, most of the snow came just before the Monday morning rush, causing some cancellations and delays.

Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough will be closed for the day, with remote learning in the afternoon.

Several school systems will have two-hour delays, including Advanced Math and Science Academy and Hillside School in Marlborough; Northborough and Southborough Public Schools; Algonquin Regional High School Grafton Public Schools; Hudson Public Schools; Shrewsbury Public Schools; St. Bernadette in Northborough; and St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury.

The National Weather Service has dropped the Winter Weather Advisory. Most of the week will be dry and cold, with highs in the 30s. The next chance for rain or snow will come late Thursday into Friday.
