Easter weekend: Egg hunts and more

This is Easter weekend, which of course means egg hunts and the Easter Bunny. Some of the local events include:

Grafton – Saturday, March 30, 10 and 11 a.m., Grafton Common. Bring your own basket to collect 10 prefilled eggs. Find a golden egg and win a prize. The Easter Bunny will be paying a visit. Tickets are $5, and must be purchased at the Grafton Public Library. Each ticket includes a raffle entry for a gift basket.

Marlborough – Saturday, March 30, noon, Ward Park. Sponsored by the Marlborough Eagles #3565. Open to Marlborough children age 10 and younger.

Shrewsbury – Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m. to noon, Dean Park. Sponsored by Shrewsbury Recreation. There will also be a crafts table and a food truck. The hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m. No registration required.

Textile Recycling

Saturday, March 30, 9 a.m. to noon, Westborough High School (front entrance). Sponsored by the Girl Scouts. Donate clean, dry clothing (torn and stained OK), linens, curtains, towels, purses, hats, shoes (tied together), belts, backpacks/luggage and stuffed animals.

Saturday, March 30, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Westborough Public Library, 55 West Main St. Confused about technology? You’re not alone! Visit the main floor of the library and get the help you need to survive in this technology-based world.

Bring your iPhone or Android, iPad, laptop or whatever device you need help with, and our tech squad will be here to help. Our volunteers are also able to help with library apps, such as Hoopla and Libby, and various social media platforms.
