Marlborough – William “Bill” L. Hebert 77 of Marlborough died at his home on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Bill was born in Waterville, ME, the son of the late William R. and Alfreda (Hebert) Hebert. He owned and operated his own construction company for many years.

Bill was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Linda P. (Smith) Hebert in 2019.

Following in his family’s footsteps of serving our country, Bill served in the U.S. Navy 1964-1967.

He is survived by his children, Jenifer Hutchings and her husband Andrew of Worcester, Adam Hebert and his wife Roena, William, “Billy” Hebert  and his wife Darci all of Bellingham, Thomas Komola of Laconia, Pamela Hawkins and her husband Jason of Framingham, Sharon Evans and her husband Tom of Holliston, 11 grandchildren, Kaden, Caitlyn, Alexa, Gigi, Chase, Devyn, Brayden, Hayley, Emily, Alex and Derek as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Kathy Lopez and brother John Hebert.

Bill was very involved in volunteering for the Veterans, he was a Member of the American Legion and was known for being a great storyteller. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and loved fishing and kayaking. He was also a member of the Masons for many years.

A private service will be held at a later date.

The Short & Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough assisted.
