Pauline was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Emma (Remillard) and Joseph Robidou. Her roots were in the city before she moved to Grafton where she lived with her husband Bert and their family for 69 years. Family brought her joy above all else, her hard-working hands providing for their large family for many years. She also worked in the school cafeteria in Grafton for several years before retiring.
During their retirement years she and Bert were snowbirds in Florida, they also traveled together often. Bert had a love of boating and they would go out on area lakes and to Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. Closer to home Sunday mornings were known to be filled with piano music in the house and she also worked tirelessly on handmade braided rugs, ceramic projects and tending to her garden. She loved having her Siamese cats close by.
Pauline’s family would like to thank the staff at CareOne and Ascend Hospice for their loving care.
All are welcome to gather with Pauline’s family and friends Monday May 13th from 4pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 14th at 11:00am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Grafton.
