Carolyn A. HunterNorth Grafton – It is with profound soundness that the family of Carolyn A. Hunter announce her passing following a courageous battle with cancer.

A resident of North Grafton, MA, Carolyn grew up in Barrington, RI and was a graduate of Barrington High School (‘84) and Babson College (‘88). She had a long career as a Financial Analyst at National Grid.

Carolyn is predeceased by her parents George and Nancy (Duggan) Hunter. She is survived by her siblings Kenneth and Colleen Hunter; Ellen and Robert Morin; and Patricia and John Robertson. She also leaves behind four nephews and nieces and their families, as well as a plethora of loving cousins and extended family.

Carolyn loved to travel and enjoyed many trips covering five continents. She especially loved spending time at the family summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. She was known for keeping the “family list” covering five generations of history that kept us tethered together; she was number B34. Carolyn was extremely generous in giving, often doing for others what she would not do for herself. She hand-picked items that would lift people’s spirits or make time together more fun. Carolyn was also known for her baking, particularly the famous chocolate cake and the tins of Christmas cookies that had a favorite for everybody.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of UMass Hospital Memorial Campus, Floor West 2 for their exceptional care, kindness and attentiveness to both Carolyn and the family.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
