WESTBOROUGH – Despite occasional rain, the Westborough Garden Club deemed its annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 18, at Hastings Elementary School a success.
In addition to a variety of perennial and annual plants for sale, the club fielded questions on plant care and maintenance, and even provided soil testing.
During the event, the club awarded a scholarship to Westborough High senior Michelle Hung. She participated in several community initiatives, including the first-ever Westborough Environmental Action Fair in 2022.
A member of the high school’s Student Council, Hung will be heading to Tufts University this fall to study environmental studies and international relations.
