Olga C. AngellNorth Grafton – Olga “Snooky” (Prince) Angell, 89, passed away June 3, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Snooky worked throughout her life, beginning in various manufacturing companies and retired after 20 years with Smith Valve Corporation. She then moved to Punta Gorda, Florida where she worked at Tri State Marina and Walmart. She moved to Tequesta, Florida where she continued to work at Walmart for many years.

She was a member of the American Legion Unit 271 in Tequesta, FL. She held positions in the American Legion Auxiliary on the Executive Committee, Audit Committee and Coupon Chairman, sending coupons overseas to soldiers and their families. She enlisted help from family and friends for this cause. Snooky also did extensive volunteer work for the Jupiter Medical Center and West Palm Beach VA Hospital.

She was predeceased by her father, Stephen G. Prince, her son James Lee Angell and brother Stephen G. Prince, Jr. and son-in-law Roger LaHair. She was also predeceased by her husband James E. Angell with whom she was married for 57 years. She is survived by her sister Shirley VanMoll. She leaves 6 children; Joanne Hanna, April Wheeler, Beverly Welch (John), Alice Odaffer (George), Mary LaHair and James E. Angell, Jr.. She had 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Snooky loved spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.

All are welcome to gather with Snooky’s family and friends Friday June 7th from 4-7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. Services and burial will be private.
