WESTBOROUGH – The Employee Excellence Award Committee has presented the May 2024 Employee Excellence Award to David Dutton, firefighter with the Westborough Fire Department.
The award is given each month to a town employee who has been nominated by their colleagues for their contributions to Westborough.
According to the citation, “Dutton is the department’s mechanic and works tirelessly to keep the town’s apparatus running and ready to go for any emergency. In many cases, this requires him to come in off-duty to get apparatus back on the road as soon as possible. He accomplishes this while also working as a firefighter/EMT. He is deserving of recognition for all he does to keep Westborough Fire running.”
