Westborough – John D. Shepherd, 59, of Westborough, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Westborough.
Born in Worcester he was raised and educated in Westborough schools and has been a lifelong resident of Westborough.
John was employed as a Logistics Manager for Inteplast in Westborough. He had worked for Inteplast (previously Danafilms) since 1982. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, going to car shows, the races, watching sports, and golfing. He loved to attend all family events, especially dinners with his daughter and sister.
He is survived by one daughter, Savannah Nicole Shepherd and her boyfriend, Brendan Przypek of Attleboro, his former wife Elaine Shepherd of Charlton, his father and stepmother, Harry and Paula Shepherd of Venice, FL, one sister, Laura Shepherd of Sutton, one nephew James Dodge of Murray, UT, a stepsister, Christine Connor Mace and a stepbrother, Michael Connor.
He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy (Trethewey) Albrecht and a brother, Robert (Bobby) Shepherd.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 9 from 2 to 5 P.M. in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
Funeral services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Westborough Police Foundation or the American Heart Association.
