WESTBOROUGH – A new Westborough Public Library director has been appointed.
On Monday, June 24, the library’s Board of Trustees selected Kate-Lynn Coraccio, who currently serves as the director of the Wilmington Public Library.
The appointment is dependent on a background check and contract negotiations.
She will replace Maureen Amyot, who is leaving to become the new director of the Mass. Board of Library Commissioners.
The selection capped a search that began in late May, shortly after Amyot announced she was leaving.
Her last day will be July 5.
A reception in Amyot’s honor is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, at 4:30 p.m. at the library.
