Marlborough – Ruth Y. (Pacific) Dupree, 80, of Marlborough, died Friday, June 28, 2024, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Worcester.
Born in Southborough, MA she was the daughter of the late Henry Pacific and Yolanda (Morenzetti) (Pacific) Tebo and the wife of John Dupree to whom she had been married for the past 37 years. She was also the stepdaughter of the late Donald Tebo, Sr. who raised her.
Ruth attended Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough, MA. To say she was an avid Red Sox fan would be an understatement! She retired in the early 2000’s from Intel Corporation in Hudson, where she had been employed for many years. She was then able to fully enjoy her favorite past times which included gardening, animals, cookouts, if they included a good cheeseburger with mashed potato, and above all else, her large extended family.
Beside her husband, Ruth is survived by her sisters Jeanne Shrum of Marlborough, Sandra Beane and her husband Larry of Marlborough, Penni Barger and her husband John of California, her brother Herbie Tebo and his wife Jeanne of Douglas, MA., and many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was also the sister of the late Marie Neiber, Susan Bindman, Donald Tebo, Jr., Bobby and Ricky Tebo, and Jackie Stevens.
Visiting hours for Ruth will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 9:00-10:30 am at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752, with a Funeral Service at 10:30 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough, MA.
